The food packaging machinery for this line was a bit tricky. A three-part assembly, making the logo an independent label, helped to place the flavor label as a sealing agent for food safety. This approach worked seamlessly with the vertical form fill and horizontal seal food packaging machinery put in place The design gave each flavor its own identity while remaining apart of a broader brand identity. The print process was CMYK with food-safe inks and a UV coat.

We found the solution in an eco-friendly flexible film that worked seamlessly with the horizontal form fill food packaging machinery, in place. The case pack was a roll end tray with a locking cover case pack. The versatilely, of this case pack, would give the retailer the ability to display the packaged crackers in the case pack, or the crackers could be un-packed to a shelf facing. This was a cost-effective way for Doctor Kracker to cover two aspects of the retail industry without the exorbitant cost of multiple case packings.
